BSA has a wide range of laboratory applications and is often used as a blocking agent in immune experiments, including ELISA and Western Blot (WB). As carrier proteins, cross-linking them to haptens and other weak antigens can make them more immunogenic in antibody production. In restriction enzyme digestion reactions, BSA is often used as a reaction stabilizer for some enzymes and prevents it from adhering to tube walls and gun heads. BSA is also commonly used in the production process of biopharmaceuticals or as a nutrient in cell and microbial cultures. In addition, it is also used as a standard for protein quantitative detection. Our BSA products are prepared using high quality bovine plasma using Heat Shock method.
